X-Rays Now Available in Clinton MD

We have a digital x-ray machine exclusive to our chiropractic clinic location in Clinton MD that can produce high-quality images. These photos are used to identify problems and/or choose a course of treatment. The chiropractor can analyze the pictures and give them to you on a flash drive so you can take them with you. We prefer to limit radiation exposure as much as possible, but we also recognize the need of knowing exactly what is happening.

It is advisable to have x-rays to make sure nothing is damaged if you have just been injured or been in an accident. During the consultation or examination, we will let you know if we believe x-rays are necessary.

If the chiropractor takes your x-ray in a standing or weight-bearing position, the various normal and abnormal curves of the spine can be seen as well as the severity of changes in joints.

The chiropractor can evaluate the general health of your bones; determine whether or not you have any congenital anomalies (unusual shapes to your bones from birth), fractures, dislocations, and arthritic conditions, infections of the bones, or joints, and tumors which would significantly alter the plan of treatment.
